The beautiful golden lights illuminating the monument can be only captured during early spring when the sun sets behind the Cross at the right location and angle.

"I captured this photo on one of my very first photo walks around Chichester. I remember that I wasn't even sure if I am allowed to go out and take pictures (because of the lockdown), so I was in a strange mood, but when I arrived at the cross and noticed the scene in front of me, everything went away and I captured some of my most favourite photos on that day..."
